Dou Gottlieb wonders why NBA players who refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccination cannot seem to give a reason other than to say it’s personal. Those who have stood up and taken the vaccine like Damian Lillard, have reasonable and thoughtful reasons why they took the vaccine and have no problem sharing their decision making process. Guys who refuse like Andrew Wiggins and Kyrie Irving, cite personal reasons and say things like, ‘I stand for something.’ Doug thinks the only thing they stand for is that they just don’t want to be vaccinated, but they don’t have a good, logical argument for their refusal. After all, we’ve ALL been vaccinated for measles, mumps, polio, etc., and refusing to get the latest life-saving vaccine for COVID seems disingenuous.
