New York Giants quarterback Daniel 'Danny Dimes' Jones is not one to praise the competition. The NFC East quarterback kept his praise in-check when asked by Dan Patrick about other quarterbacks around the league who have play making abilities that stick out. Jones didn't bite, and wouldn't name a quarterback, but eventually gave us a little fandom and said there were several quarterbacks around the league who are impressive and deserve respect.
Dan Patrick: "When's the last time you were on the sidelines and watching a quarterback play and you're going 'oh my god!' Like, 'I don't think I can do that.'
Daniel Jones: "I don't know. I think every week you see guys who make some plays that impress everyone. Everyone in this league has a quarterback who can do it."
Dan Patrick: "Oh, there's got to be one where you go, 'oh my god, did you see what Mahomes did or Aaron Rodgers did?' Right?
Daniel Jones: "Yea, you know those guys, I think Herbert is one of them. I think Carr is one of them. I have a ton of respect for those guys."
