Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to Russell Wilson's finger injury on Thursday Night Football and share their experiences with what is called "mallet finger." Russ has never missed a start but will almost certainly need surgery and time-off before returning. The fact that he's made it 10 years in the NFL without a significant injury is a testament to his skill and his luck.
Jonas Knox: "The fact that he's never missed a start at that size, I think is even more impressive."
Brady Quinn: "He makes really good decision outside of the pocket, but even saying that, he's got to be lucky too because their offensive line has been awful since he's been there. I mean it's not been good so the fact that he's been able to survive despite that, is kind of telling of just the luck that's been on their side, how mobile he is and the job they do working around that. He's been lucky man, he really has."
