Last night, Dan Patrick was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame and Will Ferrell surprised the crowd with his ‘tearful’ introduction of Dan’s acceptance speech. Check out what might possibly be the most inspiring one minute and forty-seven seconds of audio you are likely to ever hear.
Dan Patrick: “It was a great night last night, my children flew in. Will Ferrell, by the way, gave the introduction to my Hall of Fame speech... It was great and people there loved it. They were surprised. You know, when you have somebody introduce you, whether it was somebody close to you, or a family member, or whoever, and I just asked Will Ferrell, it’s like, ‘Hey would you introduce me?’ And he said, ‘How much time do I get?’ I go, ‘Two minutes,’ and he went 1:47. And I said, ‘You went 1:47...’ He goes, ‘I didn’t have 13 more seconds to say anything good about you,’ and I go, ‘OK, 1:47 it is.’ But, my thanks to Will Ferrell who did a wonderful job with that.
