Rob Parker: "Not often do players ever really reach their full potential, not that his career is anything close to being over, but he did it. A unanimous MVP in the American League says a lot about what Ohtani is, what he was, and what he will be moving forward. This dude is a bonafide star who has separated himself. He lived up to the billing, and he was must-see tv if you had the chance to watch him. I was wrong. Shohei Ohtani lived up to all of the hype, and that doesn't normally happen."
Chris Broussard: "I'm going to take it a step further. All things considered, this was the best individual season in Major League Baseball history. He didn't just hit and pitch, he did them both at a star level..."

Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to Shohei Ohtani being named American League MVP unanimously. Rob admits that he was wrong about Ohtani in the past, previously doubting if Ohtani could actually succeed as a two-way player in the majors. Rob recognizes that Ohtani has lived up to the hype in impressive fashion, establishing himself as a superstar in the game. Broussard takes his praise of Ohtani a step further, declaring Ohtani's 2021 as the single greatest individual season in baseball history.
