History Indicates Trevor Lawrence Will Not Be An Elite Quarterback

RJ Bell: "Right now, if you take the top dozen quarterbacks in the NFL, and you look at how they did in their first year starting by QBR, only one of the dozen is as bad as Trevor Lawrence. I think he's going to be fine, he's going to be like the 22nd best quarterback, but the worshipping of his talent is too much. I hope he does fine for himself, but history says Trevor Lawrence will not be an elite quarterback."

RJ Bell and AJ Hoffman react to Trevor Lawrence's rough rookie season. The guys look at how many of the current starting quarterbacks did in their first years as starters, by QBR, and compare these numbers to where Lawrence stands, concluding that it is historically improbable for Lawrence to rise to the elite ranks after his poor debut as a starting quarterback.
