Any NBA player with an opportunity to play on the Charlotte Hornets and potentially have a chance to speak with basketball legend Michael Jordan would definitely not waste that opportunity. In a lot of ways, LaMelo Ball is that player. He's exceeded expectations out of the NBA Draft and continues to produce each night he's on the floor. He certainly has a game that could be right up there with Michael Jordan if he works at it but according to Ball's father, LaVar Ball, he doesn't even seek the NBA great for advice. Here's what LaVar said on a post from Hoopsview:
LaVar Ball: "How often does he seek advice from Michael Jordan? NEVER! What advice he gon' give him? Do you ever have milk in your refrigerator? And when the damn thang expires, I hope you throw it away. When's the last time he won a championship? And the game has CHANGED! What's he gon tell him? The Charlote Hornets have been around a long time before my son got there. Talk to some of those other guys so you can WIN! Don't wait to tell my boy."
