The Jaguars aren’t very good right now but that was to be expected, wasn’t it? Urban Meyer hasn’t had enough time to properly put his stamp on the Jags and getting rid of him so soon would be premature. It’s still hard to say whether he can turn things around in Jacksonville, but he should be given a fair chance to fix a franchise that has been struggling since its inception.
Doug Gottlieb: “This could be really, really bad for a year or two and then it gets better. It just takes time...My take is really simple on Urban Meyer: I don’t know if it works, but I also don’t think you know if it works during this short period of time.”
