Doug Gottlieb dissects the Baltimore Ravens decision to go for 2 at the end of their game against the Green Bay Packers instead of kicking the PAT and sending the game to overtime. Analytics might support John Harbaugh’s decision, but there are other factors he should have considered. Trying to avoid overtime is simply an admission that their opponent is a better team, and they don’t think they can win.

Doug Gottlieb: “I get what Jim Harbaugh’s doing. I also think all of this time going for 2 admits to the world it’s not just about analytics, the Ravens know they’re not really that good.”
