Today on The Doug Gottlieb Show, Doug spoke with Tom Rinaldi who is the Co-director and Executive Producer for the FOX Sports original documentary, “ALL MADDEN.” Rinaldi shared insight into Madden’s approach to broadcasting at the beginning of a remarkable television career that spanned over 25 years, and what the Super Bowl winning coach means to some of the biggest names in the NFL, on and off the field.
Doug Gottlieb: “Who is John Madden, the man?”
Tom Rinaldi: “I think he is an American original, Doug. It’s that authenticity. The guy you couldn’t make up. The guy who was described as a coach as looking like an unmade bed… He was the guy who went into the booth with so much to say and didn’t have the classic jaw-line, the perfect hair, and who didn’t think much of broadcasters…”
