The NFL Is Plowing Through Despite COVID

Dan and the Dannettes try to determine which game they’d rather watch tonight with their depleted rosters. The consensus is that both games will be a shadow of what they would have been with full squads, and Dan dissects the NFL’s COVID strategy. He feels the NFL doesn’t care about the players nearly as much as it does about the revenue these games will generate because they are planning to plow through and make sure these games get played regardless.

Dan Patrick: “The NFL is plowing through. They’re going to play these games. They don’t care who’s out there, they’re going to play a game. They’re not forfeiting, they’re not cancelling. Well they’re going to, you know, ‘postpone,’ that’s what they’re going to do. But they’re plowing ahead. They’re playing these games. You may not know who’s playing, but they’re playing these games... ‘We don’t care, just get out there; play!’”
