Earlier this week, Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily addressed how social media amplifies the most negative voices from fanbases including death threats. Today on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington put in perspective the difference between players and fans, as well as the difference between real fans and fake ones.

Jonas Knox: "This isn't about fans taking it too far. These are losers, they're not fans. They're people that get out and attack athletes that can do things they've never ever dreamed of doing. I don't understand the thought process that goes behind it. The whole thing is strange and the fact these guys have to deal with it and they're family members have to go through it, I think is ridiculous. It's terrible."
Brady Quinn: "It's a cowardly thing and I don't get it because every single player has sacrificed more in their life to put themselves in position to have the opportunity to play. Trust me, the lack of success which most have had their entire life in order to get to that point to play in the NFL, it's way more of a burden on them than you realize. So, I never understand where fans come off and think they should make a death threat to someone who is putting so much into it, really just for their entertainment."
LaVar Arrington: "This goes beyond the idea of just saying, okay you're a fanatic for your team. It exposes the content of the character of the people that do these things."
