Why Jim Harbaugh Must Leave Michigan for the NFL

In the video above, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker debate the future of Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh as speculation surrounds his next move with the college program. According to The Athletic Harbaugh, may be interested in an NFL return:

The Athletic is hearing rumblings, both from the NFL side and at Michigan, that Harbaugh might be tempted to leave the Wolverines to return to the NFL. “I think it’s real,” said one source this week when asked about the possibility of Harbaugh being interested in heading back to the NFL.

Rob Parker is firmly planted in the camp calling for Jim Harbaugh's return to the NFL. Parker has been the most critical of Harbaugh's tenure in Michigan and thinks ending his time with the program now is his best opportunity to go out on the highest note he can reach. While Chris Broussard agrees with Harbaugh leaving under financial circumstances, he doesn't think that Harbaugh has done enough for the Michigan program to feel comfortable leaving them right now.

Rob Parker: "Jim Harbaugh, if you can hear the sound of my voice, run for the hills! Get out of Ann Arbor while you still have your name and your street cred! It was just a year ago that they cut your pay; they soiled your name. No one in the NFL would even pick up the phone to talk to you. You were toxic! Your job at Michigan is done. Don't play yourself. Those easy-to-please fans in Ann Arbor are happy. 'They just want to be relevant! They just want to play in a big game!' Don't lose that feeling, Jim Harbaugh. Iron you a pair of khakis, fill up the station wagon, grab the kids and the wife, and high tail it. You know why? Bo couldn't win a National Championship at that place. I don't care how pretty your helmets are or how many kids go to the NFL from Michigan; when it comes to National Championships, Michigan can't win! You can only go down at Michigan. They will say, 'Jim could never win the big one!' That's not what you want. Heed my warnings, Mister!!"
