RJ Bell: "By EPA, Mahomes has had in the last 7 or so games, the best run of his career. Right up there with any other time with his career...this is an example of taking the season stats, which I generally like because you can make an excuse for a bad performance, it's too easy to fool yourself. If you have a situation where they come into the year, like Kansas City did, they play okay for awhile then have an awful stretch...they make an adjustment, then the next 6 or 7 games they play much better. You're probably safe saying the whole season isn't the story, it's the most recent games, and if so, this Kansas City offense is the best one they've had during the Mahomes era.
AJ Hoffman: "One more thing that makes me like this over: Bill Vinovich is the head referee. Throws the least flags of anybody in the league, and the one thing he's the lowest at is holding calls. Doesn't call holding, which is great for offenses."
