On Tuesday's 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to the statement released by Brian Flores' lawyers, claiming Flores only lost out on the Houston Texans job because of his lawsuit against the NFL.

The statement read: “Mr. Flores is happy to hear that the Texans have hired a Black head coach, Lovie Smith, as Mr. Flores’ goal in bringing his case is to provide real opportunities for Black and minority candidates to be considered for coaching and executive positions within the NFL. However, we would be remiss not to mention that Mr. Flores was one of three finalists for the Texans’ head coach position and, after a great interview and mutual interest, it is obvious that the only reason Mr. Flores was not selected was his decision to stand up against racial inequality across the NFL.”

Brady Quinn: "They're almost taking credit for the fact that Lovie Smith was hired, because without the lawsuit, it would have been Josh McCown, which John McClain put out there. Even if they're right that the motivation behind hiring Lovie Smith was the lawsuit which pushed them in a different direction, stop taking credit for it."
Jonas Knox: "We understand there is a bigger issue going on for Brian Flores and it's important, and it's important to him, but the messaging we got at the front was, 'This isn't about me. This is about us.' Yet he just made it about him."
LaVar Arrington: "If I'm Lovie Smith and they bring that quote to me, that's immediately how I'm going to interpret it. You just diminished and downgraded me."
