Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowl Defensive End, Maxx Crosby joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show in Los Angeles, CA. He says he is trying to stay humbled and grounded as he receives more and more attention for his talents. He addresses the controversy over the lack of tackling in the Pro Bowl and reiterates that there was no prior arrangement to that effect, proclaiming that they all wanted to win. And he reacts to his comically underwhelming draft profile from back in the day.
Dan Patrick: “What was the agreement where we go: we’re just going to have two-hand touch?”
Maxx Crosby: “Honestly, there wasn’t an agreement. Once the game started, I got off the ball and I noticed everyone was kind of moving in slow-motion, so I was trying to like act in a way to try to, you know... But as the game went on, there was a big bonus so, you know (Mike) Vrabel is a competitive guy, he wanted to win. Everybody on our team was like, all right, we’re going to like, kind of go with the flow but we wanted to win. So yeah, there were a couple third downs and 4th downs where we kind of were rushing a little bit.”
