In the video above, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker discuss what they observed from the LA Rams defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl. Rob Parker has had a history of accusing Matthew Stafford of padding his stats to make himself look much better than he actually is as a quarterback. Pair that with Stafford struggling to win playoff games with his former team the Detroit Lions, and it'd be easy to be convinced that Stafford would come up short in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for Parker, Stafford is now a Super Bowl champ. But don't think for a second that Rob Parker has changed how he feels about the newly redeemed quarterback.
Rob Parker: "Was it anything different than I expected from Matthew Stafford? NO. Did it change my opinion of him? NO. Did he prove me wrong that he could get it done? YES. But I haven't changed my opinion. I looked at that game, and how he played, and while he won, I think people have gone off the deep end with this over-crazed narrative about him and his accomplishments. I looked at the game and thought to myself, there was probably ten or twelve quarterbacks that could've won a Super Bowl with the Rams, including Ryan Tannehill."
