On Monday's 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington double down on the idea that Sean McVay could walk away from coaching in order to make more money in the broadcast booth. He's had so much success at such a young age, but he could leave now to avoid burning out and still have the option of coming back to the sideline. Also, his market value may never be higher and entertaining the idea can at the very least, leverage a better deal with the Rams.

Jonas Knox: "I think there's a real possibility he could walk away. Look, John Madden got a Super Bowl and walked away at 42, and he was still involved in football for the rest of his life and built a legendary career beyond that. Sean McVay could walk away at 36, get hired by ESPN to do Monday Night Football, and he could be in broadcasting as long as he wants and then if an opportunity comes up, he'd be hired on the spot, or at least be able to pick and choose where he wants to go in the NFL. I just think it makes too much sense."
Brady Quinn: "And by the way, it doesn't exclude Stan Kroenke and the Los Angeles Rams from hiring him back. We saw that with the Raiders. People will ask why you want to leave now to go do something else. Well maybe it's a personal decision and maybe professionally he can still come back to that, very similar to what Gruden did."
