In a blockbuster trade on Tuesday, Russell Wilson was sent to the Denver Broncos for a package of players and draft picks. While it may seem like a nice haul, Ben Maller points out that the Broncos got the much better end of the deal.
Ben Maller: "Denver is going from driving a Chevy Spark to a Rolls Royce Phantom with Russell Wilson...Many people seem to be celebrating the fact that Seattle got a number of goodies in this trade. I always roll my eyes at this. There's a great quote from Mark Twain: 'Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, it's actually apparently a suburb in Seattle," cuz this is a case of quantity over quality."
