Ben Maller thinks that the Washington Commanders trade for Carson Wentz was a desperation mood and that Wentz doesn't actually improve the team at all.
Ben Maller: "This is, best case scenario, a lateral move. You still suck at QB, but you're not worse at QB. Carson Wentz had a good defense and a stable of good running backs...and in that Indianapolis offense he was a decoy. And then when the Colts needed him to step up in a couple of games at the end of the year, he took a ride on the vomit commit and couldn't get it done."
