The Mayor of New York made it clear that professional athletes will not get preferential treatment and be given exemptions from the workplace vaccination requirements, nor will he speed up the process to accommodate the sports schedule. His hardline stance on these requirements has left Doug Gottlieb scratching his head. After all, if he can attend a game, why can’t he play in one?
Doug Gottlieb: “When you start opening back up the world and a guy can come and watch a game unvaccinated with his mask off...it does make you scratch your head. Why can’t he just go and play if he can come and watch the game?”
