Newly retired Super Bowl Champion, Andrew Whitworth joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. He says he was starting to feel his age and while he’s sure he could play another season if he had to, it wouldn’t be in anybody’s best interest. He also talks about his strong relationship with HC Sean McVay and how gratifying it is to go out on top.
Dan Patrick: “Did you know during the Super Bowl that that was your last game?”
Andrew Whitworth: “I knew kind of going into the playoffs that that was probably going to be the last run I was going to get to make. I knew the body was starting to talk to me a little bit, finally starting to feel 40, so I knew it was a pretty good chance this is probably the last run I’m going to make.”
