Not only will it complicate negotiations with Lamar Jackson and the rest of the QB's in the league, but Watson's behavior is seemingly being rewarded and setting a poor precedent for the league.
Jonas Knox: "The problem is not just the 22 lawsuits... It's almost like you're rewarding somebody with off field issues, and has shown the ability to back out on a deal that he already signed, and quit on his team after a four win season. Then you reward that guy with $230 million guaranteed and you even groove the structure of the contract in case he's suspended for games the first year."
