Lakers superstar LeBron James tweeted that he was out for the season with an injury in an obvious attempt at an April Fool’s Day joke. Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres, in for Doug Gottlieb, simply aren’t amused. From a guy who normally shuts down his social media during the playoffs, his flippant tweet while his team is struggling went over like a ton of lead, especially considering it was neither funny nor particularly interesting.
Aaron Torres: “It’s not funny or interesting...”
Dan Beyer: “He would never have done this with the Cavaliers... He’s going out trying to get likes and retweets. It tells you where their mindset is.”
