Chris Broussard: Lakers Must Get Rid of Russell Westbrook at All Costs

In the video above, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker discuss what to make of Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook's comments after the Los Angeles Lakers were mathematically eliminated from Playoff and Play-in contention. Davis and Westbrook are optimistic about the 2022-23 season and believe that this current LA Lakers roster could run it back and have better success. However, Both Chris and Rob can't get on board with the return of Westbrook to the Lakers.

Chris Broussard: "With the Lakers, their mentality has gotta be, 'We're getting rid of Russell Westbrook at all costs.' Real talk, they've got to trade Russell Westbrook. I don't care if it's pennies on the dollar. You can't bring this back! It is not going to work. Not in 2022, not in 2023, not in 2073. They're not going to work together so you've got to pull the trigger."
Rob Parker: "Give me your percentage of Russ coming back next year."
Chris: "One percent or below."
Rob: I say ZERO. "It can't be done. You can't sell it again to people. Laker fans won't be happy. People will be like, 'we saw this movie; we know how it ends.'"
