On today’s “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell,” RJ gives his best bet heading into the first weekend of NBA Playoffs. The Dallas Mavericks will be without F Luka Dončić in Game 1, but that’s not stopping RJ from betting in their favor.
RJ Bell: “It seems like Utah has not recovered cohesively from Rudy Gobert’s antics that pretty much caused the COVID scare across the United States. If you look at the stats, the Jazz are not a good team after a loss, and they're even a worse team after two losses. Meanwhile, Dallas played 17 games without Lukka this season, and they actually played better than they have with him. This line has been adjusted a lot, and at one point it adjusted 8 whole points, which is more than Michael Jordan was worth. I’d put half on the money line, and half on the spread at +5.”
