It was announced on Wednesday that the Las Vegas Raiders have come to an agreement on a contract extension for Derek Carr at 3 years and $121 million. However, Ben Maller cautions that this is not a time for celebration if you are a fan of the Raiders.
Ben Maller: "It's not like Derek Carr has undergone some kind of massive metamorphosis. He's not an elite QB, he's far from it. You are what your record says you are and he's a JAG. Not a Jacksonville Jag, "Just a Guy" JAG...Derek Carr is the equivalent of generic brand breakfast cereal at QB."
