Chris Broussard Rips Article Crowning Nikola Jokic GOAT Offensive Center

In the video above, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker are floored by an article from Basketball News attempting to measure Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid versus great NBA bigs of the past. Chris is especially incensed when the article's findings attempt to make the case for Nikola Joklic as the Greatest Offensive Center of All-Time using mostly analytics. According to the author:

The numbers suggest that Embiid and Jokic rank among the most prolific offensive powerhouses the position has ever seen, with Jokic himself having a rock-solid case as the GOAT offensive center. However, neither big man appears to have the defensive standing necessary or playoff sample size to conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that either one is having the single greatest season from a center since the merger.

In response, Chris Broussard said the following:

Chris Broussard: "It's prisoner of some analytics stats...STOP IT! Are you kidding me? Basketball News is emblematic of these analytics cats who I fear that a lot you can't watch the game and tell who can ball. You cant! You gotta go to your computers. You gotta go to your analytics. You gotta go to your funny numbers to know, in your mind, who's good and who's not. Analytics are at their best when they're packaged with the eye test and with intangibles. To say Nikola Jokic is the best offensive center, even arguably, is lunacy. I've got one question for all of you who would co-sign that. Why can't he exploit 6'6 Draymond Green in the post?"
