Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox and LaVar Arrington believe Tua Tagovailoa took a snipe shot at Brian Flores by refusing to comment on his former coach, before complimenting Mike McDaniel, who is finally setting the young QB up for success in Miami.
LaVar Arrington: "He was relaxed, but he was on point. That was a sniper shot. He killed him with kindness."
Jonas Knox: "He's going to say all the right things because he's a really good kid. He's never going to take a shot directly at Brian Flores, but that was a shot. That's him saying, 'Man, I am so relieved. I actually have somebody that's gonna give me an opportunity.' If it doesn't work, and this his one year under Mike McDaniel, at least I feel like he's gonna get a fair chance and I don't think he ever got that with Flores. I really don't."
