On The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, the guys zoned in on the drama surrounding the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors series. Jason contends that the NBA dropped the ball while handing Memphis' Dillon Brooks only a one game suspension, while the Warriors have to deal with one of their rising stars being out for the whole series to the injury he suffered by Brooks' hard foul.
Jason Smith: "The worse part of it is, this series now is going to stay physical and chippy, and more players could possibly end up getting hurt. This suspension does not do anything for the Golden State Warriors. They are going to take to the court, and they are going to be pissed as hell because, 'Oh, this guy gets one game, and we lose a guy for the playoffs on about a dirtiest play you can possibly imagine.' You think that's going to stop it? No. But if you suspended Brooks for the rest of the series, which is what he should have gotten... In the end, this is a complete epic fail by the NBA..."
