Monday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington try to make sense of why the Browns continue to hold on to Baker Mayfield instead of taking what they can for him in a trade with the Panthers, Seahawks or another team.
Jonas Knox: "At some point Cleveland, do they understand that they're trying to play a game of Texas Hold 'em, but their cards are turned the wrong way. Everybody knows what they've got so why did they continue to go down this road? You got to move on, man. Take what you can get, eat the $17/18 million, whatever it is, and move on. And just let Baker Mayfield go do his thing. I don't get what the delay is."
Brady Quinn: "They just don't want to pay that price."
LaVar Arrington: "Even if that were the case, a couple teams are still trying to monitor the situation, Cleveland is wrong for still having that man on roster. There's no way around that. It's just dead wrong."
