Colin Kaepernick's Raiders Tryout is A Low-Risk, High-Reward Scenario

Chris Broussard: “Look, I don’t even know if the Raiders even have a spot for Kaepernick. They’re clearly not looking for a starter, and they already filled backup positions this offseason. But worst case scenario, this is at least an NFL team giving him a trial and opening the door back up for him. Other teams who actually need a backup could look at this and sign him as a legitimate backup in the near future.”
Rob Parker: “The Raiders have always been the renegades, and have gone against the grain. It started with Al Davis, who sued he NFL multiple times, and it looks like his son is following in his footsteps. Chris, if he can’t play, he gets cut like everyone else. But if he can play, what’s so bad about having a guy on the team who could help you out? People forget Kaepernick went to a Super Bowl.”

The Odd Couple’s Chris Broussard and Rob Parker discuss the Las Vegas Raiders offering a tryout to Colin Kaepernick. Although Kaepernick is not guaranteed a spot on the roster, Chris and Rob both believe that this tryout has the potential to open other doors back into the league for the former 49ers QB, and can only hope both parties.
