Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington see right through the smoke and mirrors that is the Las Vegas Raiders bringing in Colin Kaepernick for a workout. Mark Davis has been accused of misconduct. Who knows what comes out of the Jon Gruden lawsuit. They've got a new head coach and lots of big name acquisitions in free agency in a division that might be the most competitive in the league, and yet they bring in a QB that is 3 years older than a reliable Derek Carr. Bringing this on themselves is meant as a distraction from bigger problems under the surface.

Brady Quinn: "Whatever is happening within the front office of the Las Vegas Raiders, or whatever may come from the Jon Gruden situation has to be way bigger than whatever they're willing to absorb from all this with Kaepernick. Because you can make the case that if you're gonna work him out, than you might as well sign him too."
Jonas Knox: "You realize the last time Colin Kaepernick played a game in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes hadn't even declared for the NFL Draft? That's how long this has been, it's been six years. This is all PR. There's more behind this. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever."
Brady Quinn: "I've had three kids since then. I mean, my life has dramatically changed. My perspective is so different in life since Colin Kaepernick last played, by the way I called that game. I'm just saying six years is a long time, man. That'll change a lot of things in your life."
LaVar Arrington: "Let's not lose sight of this. It's an opportunity for him to show that he can still play football."
