The Golden State Warriors punched their ticket into the NBA Finals last night by beating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. Conversely, former Warrior and current Brooklyn Nets superstar, Kevin Durant did not even make the postseason. While many consider this to be evidence that KD isn’t the player we all thought he was, Doug jumps to his defense. Nothing the Warriors do will ever take away from Durant’s obvious greatness.
Doug Gottlieb: “The Warriors’ success, both before and after Kevin Durant, makes many people jump up and go, ‘Uh, Kevin Durant not winning, Warriors still winning; he wasn’t that good.’ I don’t really know why we do that... he’s still an incredible player, isn’t he?”
