Friday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Tua Tagovailoa steps up to the haters and "keyboard warriors," and finally displays the confidence many have clamored for since the start of his NFL career. Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington explain why the poor perception of Tua should land more on the shoulders of Brian Flores, and they believe Mike McDaniel will finally put him in position to meet high expectations.

Brady Quinn: "Moving forward with this coaching staff, with what Mike McDaniel wants to do, I don't think they're gonna be dinking-and-dunking. They're gonna be taking shots, they're gonna be running the football, they're gonna be doing things that are gonna showcase whether or not he's able to hit a lot of these deep balls. So I kind of hope people understand a lot of how we perceive Tua was really a byproduct of the situation he walked into in Miami and the situation he was dealt..."
Jonas Knox: "And it's fair to say that this is probably the healthiest he's been since maybe high school because he was never really healthy at Alabama..."
LaVar Arrington: "I feel like Tua coming out and speaking publicly says a lot. If Mike McDaniel is allowing him to grab and utilize that confidence that he has, speaking out and speaking up may directly result in better results on the football field as well..."
