The LIV Tour hosted its inaugural tournament over the weekend and Dan was underwhelmed. There was no on-course drama because everybody gets paid and nobody misses the cut, plus the internet-only broadcast was amateurish. He was much more interested in watching Rory McIlroy win the Canadian Open where players still have to earn their paychecks.

Dan Patrick: “I watched the LIV tournament and all it is, is just sort of an exhibition. There’s no drama there because everybody is going get paid, nobody misses the cut...There is nothing attached to it. And that’s what you love. When we tune-in to sports; what’s on the line? You tune-in to this nothing is on the line, except for the bottom line is money. That’s it. You got money and that’s it.”
