Los Angeles Dodgers Pitching Coach, Mark Prior joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. He describes his role with the organization and exactly how he handles this amazing pitching staff. They talk about the advancements in injury prevention and adjusting pitch counts accordingly, and what he learned during his own career that has helped him be a better coach. And he talks about the growth of Tony Gonsolin and Tyler Anderson who have stepped up in the absence of Clayton Kershaw and Walker Buehler, as well as the tremendously cohesive spirit in the bullpen.
Mark Prior: “I really like the way our guys have come together and stepped up to fill the Walker Buehler void (and) when Clayton (Kershaw) was out. We’ve had some guys in Tony Gonsolin and Tyler Anderson in the starting rotation who have done an extremely good job of filling those shoes.”
