Monday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Brady Quinn celebrates his brother-in-law, Colorado Avalanche Defenseman Jack Johnson, winning the Stanley Cup in his 16th season in the NHL.

Brady Quinn: "It was one of the most surreal things. This team to me, from watching this year, was the best all year. And then when you breakdown Jack's story, that's what makes it crazy. He made the team this year on a PTO, a player tryout, and ended up obviously having one of his best seasons. That being said, he still didn't get the chance to start once they got in the playoffs and it took an injury for him to then get back up in the starting lineup and after that, the rest is history.
So for a guy who's played 1,000 games now, which is a very, very rare thing for an American born Defenseman, and now have the chance to in that same season hold up the Stanley Cup, it is one of the greatest stories in my mind that I've ever heard in sports. So congrats to the Avs. Congrats to Jack. Congrats to all the men and women who helped make it possible in their organization.
Honestly, I got a little emotional about it guys, just because I know everything he's been through and watching the ups and downs of the season, it was pretty cool to see him hoisting the Cup up last night."
