Tuesday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to the report from ON3's Gerry Hamilton, that former Pitt WR Jordan Addison is 'pissed' over broken promises at USC. The report is clearly alluding to NIL deals not yet living up to Addison's expectations, but it is likely USC is doing their best to avoid his transfer being perceived as inducement.
Brady Quinn: "You want me to pull back the sheet? You've got collectives that are offering these kids contracts before they're ever in school. They're not supposed to be and they're putting inducement clauses that say that it's not inducement. But the reality is in a court of law, if it looks like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, if it walks like a duck, it's going to be considered a duck and that's what it is.
The truth is, they just haven't cracked down on this yet. Eventually someone will and someone is going to get popped. And that's why I feel like people are operating a lot more cautiously moving forward, especially Jordan Addison and USC, because they've been as aggressive as anyone."
