On Wednesday’s edition of “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell,” RJ and AJ Hoffman discuss Donovan Mitchell’s future destination. The Jazz have Mitchell on the trade block, and the Vegas odds are saying that the New York Knicks are the favorites to land the young superstar.
AJ Hoffman: “The Knicks are the favorites right now at -125.”
MacKenzie Rivers: “The Knicks have 8 tradeable draft picks, and they can trade up to 4 at one time. You maybe throw in Obi Toppin or Immanuel Quickley, but you hold onto Barrett and Randle, and your “Big 3” would be Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell and Julius Randle.”
RJ Bell: “Randle with his current contract, is he a positive asset, or a negative asset? When you look at Russell Westbrook, he’s a negative asset. He’s still a good player, but with his contract, he’s a liability. I see the same situation with the Knicks and Randle.”
