LaVar Arrington: "I can't say I'm upset with the clause. They said 'additional' 4 hours. I think we cracked the code on this one. They want that 4 hours where he is putting an hour a day of extra time in with the coach at the facility. That's why it's not an egregious amount of time, and they're going to monitor. He's clearly not doing it already. The Cardinals experienced something that makes them feel as though there is more he can do to be the player he's capable of being."
TJ Houshmandzadeh: "If you give a guy $160 million guaranteed, if you can't trust him to do the right things, you've got the wrong guy. If my wife says she's going to hang out with her friends and I'm hanging out at the crib wondering what she's doing, I've got the wrong wife. The Cardinals embarrassed him, they know they embarrassed him, but you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. The agent gotta go!"
