It's Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, and before getting ready for kickoff between the Bills and Rams, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington look back at all the crazy storylines that made this the wildest offseason in NFL history.
Brady Quinn: "Just think about all the stuff. You have Tom Brady retire and unretire. That felt like two offseasons ago. You get Rogers decide to come back, which that gets glossed over. You had Deshaun Watson moving on, who as we've most recently found out, clearly it looked like he was going to the Atlanta Falcons, and then now he finds himself suspended, which they finally got a verdict on that in Cleveland.
You get Matt Ryan, who then moves to the Indianapolis Colts, you have Carson Wentz who then moves to the Washington Commandos, Russell Wilson goes to Denver, you get the head coaching hires and all that carousel. It has been the craziest offseason that I can recall, at least in my lifetime in the NFL."
LaVar Arrington: "The amount of money, obviously it set financial records for offseason spending. I agree with you also Jonas, that this was a very quarterback heavy offseason and it was a great offseason for receivers to reset the market as well."
Jonas Knox: "It's wild just to think about all these big names that are at other spots now. It's crazy man, what a fun offseason. It gave us plenty to talk about."
