With Mac Jones expected to be out several weeks with an ankle injury, there are many out there that are calling for the Patriots to turn to former MVP Cam Newton to step in at QB. Ben Maller says this is an awful idea.
Ben Maller: "Anyone who knows football and has been paying attention to football in recent years knows that Cam Newton is not a reasonable option. In fact, it makes no sense. The Patriots already had Cam Newton. They had their fill of Cam Newton. To bring him back would be a sign: 'Hey, we're waving the white flag!'"
