Too Little, Too Late from Ron Rivera

Washington Commanders Head Coach, Ron Rivera made some obvious implications about his quarterback Carson Wentz and tried to walk them back this morning. Doug wonders how coach with that many years of experience, and having dealt with temperamental quarterbacks in the past, would make such an obviously inflammatory comment to the media. And what’s worse, he tried to walk back his comments after the damage had already been done by blaming the media, which is not a good look for Rivera.

Doug Gottlieb: “You couldn’t pick up the phone and call Carson Wentz yourself last night? Letting it lie for 18 hours when everybody’s talking about it? Don’t love it.”
