The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost an ugly game to the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday and Doug thinks it’s about time we start looking at Tom Brady as the problem. Brady just doesn’t seem as invested in this season considering his absences from camp, practice, and this week’s walk-through, and that can have an effect on morale and cohesiveness in the locker room. His reputation won’t win football games by itself.
Doug Gottlieb: “You’re kidding me, we’re really questioning Tom Brady? But that’s what happens when you don’t have sweat equity with guys, when they didn’t see you in the middle of training camp. I get that Tom Brady’s been great, but right now he’s not super-invested.”
