Monday on 2 Pros and Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox calls BS on reports that Russell Wilson wanted to play against the Jets, but it was Nathaniel Hackett who ultimately made the call to sit him because of injury. Jonas thinks it was really Russ who wanted out of the game because he wanted to expose Nathaniel Hackett and the rest of the team for being the problem in Denver.
Jonas Knox: "My ass Nathaniel Hackett, knowing he's coaching for his job, wants to roll out Brett Rypien in a must win game at home against the Jets. I think Russell Wilson asked out of that game. I think he said, 'I can't go. I'm not feeling it right now.' And I think part of it was that Russell Wilson wanted everybody to see how things could also look with Brett Rypien as your quarterback. Russ wanted out of that game, that was not a Nathaniel Hackett call."
