Jason Smith & Mike Harmon: Tom Brady Will Be Back Next Season

Jason Smith: “Come on, we knew Brady wasn’t going to retire in the middle of the season. With everything going in his life, I give him a lot of credit for not playing into with the media. The question is...  Is he really going to stop playing football after this season? Think about it, if he’s going to be divorced and is going to have time nothing will stop him from playing football. I don’t think he’s going to retire after this year, Brady is going to come back next year whether it’s with Tampa Bay or not. He’s thinking he has 3-4 more years and plays until he’s 50 years old for his legacy. It’s obvious that’s what he wants to do. I’d be the most shocked guy in the world if Brady said after this year, I’m done.”
Mike Harmon: “The physical attributes are not falling off for Brady, we’ve seen him do things this season that have been incredible. We have no idea what we’re going to get from the Buccaneers from the rest of the season, but nobody is running away with the division in the NFC South. I agree, he’s not walking away.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 21-3 to the beat up Carolina Panthers on Sunday. On the Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, the two react to Tom Brady’s comments on the Lets Go Podcast with Jim Gray. While the Buccaneers are struggling at the moment, they’re still tied for first place in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons at 3-4. In the podcast, Brady makes statements saying he’s never quit at anything in his entire life and made the decision to keep playing so he needs to live with that decision. Jason and Mike both believe that Brady is going to continue to play after this season especially with everything going on with his life and his for his legacy.
