Things Aren’t Going To Get Better For the Yankees

Today on The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Jason and Mike discuss Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner not wanting a change at the manager position, opting to keep Aaron Boone at the helm. Jason and Mike say the AL East will continually get more difficult for the Yankees to navigate through and for all of us to get ready for the fall of the Yankees!

Jason Smith: “This isn’t going to get better for the Yankees. The AL East is loaded...even the Red Sox will be better. New York Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner said he doesn’t see a change at manager, and that tells me this is not a team built for sustainable success. There is no bright side for the Yankees!”

Mike Harmon: “With Aaron Judge, you’re at that crossroads trying to see if he's worth what his price tag would be since there’s only a few teams that can actually afford to bring him in. You’re spinning your wheels and everyone else is catching up. It’s a new world order in the AL East.”
