It seems like every time the Baltimore Ravens win a game cries for the Ravens to pony-up and pay Lamar Jackson get louder. While Doug agrees that Jackson is valuable, he understands why the Ravens, who already offered to make him the highest paid QB in the league this past offseason, are reluctant to offer much more. Doug elaborates on the many reasons why breaking the bank to re-sign him would be foolhardy.
Doug Gottlieb: “We have to stop with this insane argument of, ‘Now the Ravens need to pay him.’ They want to pay him! They just don’t want to match the Deshaun Watson contract. I think that’s actually reasonable.”
