Eagles' First Loss Can Be a Blessing in Disguise

Jason Smith: "AJ Brown's quote tells you that the undefeated season narrative was something that was weighing on them. And when you're freed from that kind of expectation, it's kind of like a blessing in disguise. The Eagles getting their first loss is not the worst thing in the world. You never want to lose, but this was not the worst game to lose. With this happening now, they will be much freer, and you'll see them have a lot more jump in the coming weeks. They didn't have a lot of that tonight, they were very flat."

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the Philadelphia Eagles losing to the Washington Commanders on Monday night. The guys explain why the loss can actually be a blessing for the Eagles, as now they will no longer feel the added pressure of the undefeated season storyline hanging over them throughout the remainder of the regular season.
